What to expectIf you are an experienced Raw Foodist, you may be able to jump right in to picking your plan and menu selections from this website. Others may require a more in-depth discussion. All clients will have a free, brief consultation to review likes, dislikes, food allergies, etc.
Traveling Pan will plan a menu for your approval, do all the grocery shopping, prepare and package meals, and clean your kitchen. We provide all necessary kitchen utensils, gadgets, etc. Should you have your own juicer, dehydrator, and/or mega-blender and do not object to the chef using it – we can offer a slight discount to your service. If you prefer, we can bring that equipment with us – along with our other equipment.
About the foodAll fresh, all organic and as local/regional as we can get it. If an item is not available in organic, the chef reserves the right to change menu items to take advantage of what is fresh and organic at the market.
Because your meals will be 90% to 100% raw – thus very perishable – it is imperative the meals be consumed within 3 to 4 days. Some items may last longer (soups, snacks and desserts). For best taste, texture and freshness, some assembly on your part may be required. Marinades, sauces and toppings may be kept separate from the entrée, soup or dessert – you will given simple instructions for adding those just prior to eating your delicious raw meal.
